What's on in Alicante |
Lying on the east coast of Spain, Alicante has it all: parties, disco's, festivals, castles - and if that isn't enough - hot sun, white sandy beaches, and a turquoise sea. It's best to start exploring Alicante on the beachfront along the city's main pedestrian walkway, the Explanada de Espana. Spread out in front of the main part of the city, this elegant boulevard, stretching around the harbour, is shaded with palm trees and lined with shops and Cafes.
Stroll along the palm-fringed Paseo de la Explanada - the impressive seafront promenade lined with street cafes and inlaid with red, cream and black marble. Stop at the music pavillion and enjoy a free fresco concert by the sea. Concerts are held in the afternoons, on feast days and on Sunday mornings during the summer months.

Liverpool events to your mobile! |
Liverpool is fast becoming one of Europe’s most popular city break destinations. After being awarded European Capital of Culture 2008, the city has moved into the sights of travellers and tourists from around the world. Already famous as the birthplace of The Beatles, the city’s other cultural assets are justifiably touted as some of the finest in Europe. With more theatres, museums and galleries than any other UK city outside London, Liverpool’s history as one of the world’s great ports has left a remarkable legacy of art and architecture that gives it a distinctive look and unique atmosphere.
Liverpool is also one of the world’s great sporting cities with horse racing at Aintree and Haydock, 40 golf courses – seven of which are Championship standard, including the Royals Birkdale and Lytham, not to mention Liverpool and Everton FC. So if it’s Strawberry Fields, Premiership football or Europe’s finest culture you’re looking for, it has to be Liverpool.
Whether you're a first time visitor or have lived in London for years, there's always something new and exciting just waiting to be discovered. Travelling with a family? On a budget? Eager to sample luxury London? There has never been a better time to taste London for yourself and share it with colleagues, peers, friends and family.
Situated 45km south of central London, Gatwick is a great point from which to explore both the Capital, and the South East of England. Be it the buzzing cities of London and Brighton with their fantastic clubs and restaurants, or the tranquility of the South Downs with lazy (or not so lazy) walks and friendly local pubs.
Situated 51km to the North East of London, Luton is a great point from which to explore both the Capital, and the North East of England. One of the bonuses in in Luton, is just how near you are to the countryside. Nestled in the Chilterns, Luton is surrounded by hills and natural settings that questions its hard industrial reputation. The Chiterns themselves are known for their outstanding natural beauty.
Situated 56 km north of central London, and served with excellent rail and road links, Stansted airport is a great starting point to discovering London, and areas immediately to its North. The famous University city of Cambridge is within easy reach, why not take a relaxing punt along the river?
London has never been easier to get to, with 3 direct scheduled routes from Ireland West Airport Knock into Gatwick, Luton and Stansted. London reaches out to embrace diverse people and cultures, and encompasses the best that the world has to offer – in the arts and culture, business and commerce, sports and events, cuisine and entertainment. London is a city able to motivate and inspire like no other.

Reus is near the east coast of Spain and10 kilometres away you'll find the sun-drenched shores of Costa Dorada, where there's some fabulous family-friendly resorts, the world class PortAventura theme park and two splashtastic waterparks, all just an hour south of fabulous Barcelona. A highlight for many visitors is the Universal Mediterranean theme park resort which includes Port Aventura, the only Universal Studios theme park in Europe. Nearby Costa Dorado enjoys the very best climate of all the Spanish costas - warm and dry without the searing heat of the south, with the soft breeze off the Mediterranean keeping the temperature tolerable. Its beaches, too, are hard to beat. No wonder they call it the 'gold coast'.
