27/11/2013 - Ireland West Airport Knock to hold ‘Free Christmas Family Fun Day’ for the public on Saturday 7th December

Ireland West Airport Knock is excited to announce that it will be holding a special ‘Christmas Family Fun Day for the public on Saturday 7th December 2013.

Between 3pm and 6pm the Airport will be opening the doors to ‘ShopWest’ Travel Retail Shop to the general public for a day of Christmas Shopping with a difference. 

On the day there will be 20% off all products in ShopWest (excluding alcohol and Cigarettes) with savings of up to 50% on downtown recommended prices on well known brands such as Clinique Skincare, Benefit Make Up, Urban Decay and Christmas perfume gift sets such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Calvin Klein, Jimmy Choo , Paco Rabanne and much more.  All shoppers who spend €50 or more on the day will be entered into a special draw to win 2 return flights to any of the 25+ destinations available from Ireland West Airport Knock.

It promises to be a fun filled day for all the family with face painting and a puppet show, Santas Bouncing Castle & Rodeo Reindeer for the kids, with carol singers from Cloonlyon National School providing the musical entertainment. The main attraction on the day will be a free Santas Grotto where kids can come and meet Santa, tell him their Christmas wishes and receive a free Christmas present.  Shoppers can also enjoy a local food market with tastings provided by locally sourced food suppliers.

Mid West Radio will be doing a live broadcast from the event with giveaways and spot prizes live on air for those who attend.

Admission and car parking are free and eatwest Café and barwest will also be open on the day.

The event kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 7h December and ‘ShopWest’ will remain open till 6pm.
