Reduced Mobility Parking

Safe, Close & Accessible Parking

Mobility-Friendly Parking

Travel is easier when every step is simple. Ireland West Airport offers convenient reduced mobility parking designed to make your journey smooth from the moment you arrive. You can book your parking online as normal and then find a space on arrival, with clearly signed accessible bays placed close to the terminal. Our team is on hand to help, and our aim is to provide safe, step-free access for passengers with reduced mobility, carers and companions.

PRM & Blue Badge spaces

Designated PRM Blue Badge spaces are located directly in front of the terminal, to the left as you enter the airport car park. These extra-wide bays give you more room to get in and out of your vehicle and a shorter, level route to the terminal doors.

When you park, please display your Blue Badge clearly on your dashboard. If you’re travelling with your badge, our airport team can provide a copy for display while you’re away; simply place the provided copy in your vehicle before you head into the terminal. There is no need to arrange anything special in advance – use our standard online booking path, arrive at the airport and choose an available PRM space.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book a PRM space in advance?

No – just book your airport parking online as normal. On arrival, follow the signs into the car park and choose an available PRM Blue Badge space.

Where exactly are the accessible bays?

The PRM Blue Badge spaces are positioned in front of the terminal building, on the left as you enter the car park. Their location minimises the distance to the entrance and provides a straightforward route to check-in.

What should I display in my vehicle?

Please display your Blue Badge clearly for the duration of your trip. If you need to take your badge with you, our team can supply a copy to place in your vehicle so that your entitlement remains visible while you’re away.

Can a companion park in a PRM space if they’re dropping me off?

PRM bays are reserved for vehicles displaying a Blue Badge or an airport-issued copy while parked. If you’re only being dropped off, please use the designated set-down areas and keep PRM bays free for those who need to park.

How do I request assistance from my car to the terminal?

If you require additional assistance, let us know when you book your flight and speak to our airport team before your arrival. We’ll help you from the designated PRM Help Point in our car park to the terminal and through the next steps of your journey.
