Irish airspace re-opened and operating as normal today, Tuesday 4th May

The Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) has informed Ireland West Airport Knock that Irish airspace will reopen at 13:00pm today Tuesday 4th May.  The situation will be reviewed as the week goes on. Winds are forecast to continue coming from a Northerly direction for the next few days and this could lead to further problems.    As information is made available by the IAA Ireland West Airport Knock will update intending passengers through our website www.irelandwestairport.com.

The following flights will operate as per the schedule for today Tuesday 4th May

  • EI916 from London Gatwick to Ireland West Airport Knock which is due to arrive at 14:30pm
  • EI917 from Ireland West Airport Knock to London Gatwick which is due to depart at 15:05pm
  • FR2334 from Leeds-Bradford to Ireland West Airport Knock which is due to arrive at 14:40pm
  • FR2335 from Ireland West Airport Knock to Leeds-Bradford which is due to depart at 15:05pm
  • FR6673 from Liverpool to Ireland West Airport Knock which is due to arrive at 15:20pm
  • FR6674 from Ireland West Airport Knock to Liverpool which is due to depart at 15:45pm
  • RE227 from Dublinl to Ireland West Airport Knock which is due to arrive at 19:00pm
The following flights have been cancelled today Tuesday May 4th 2010:
  • RE220 from Ireland West Airport Knock to Dublin which was due to depart at 07:15am
  • FR805 from London Stansted to Ireland West Airport Knock which was due to arrive at 07:45am
  • FR806 from Ireland West Airport Knock to London Stansted which was due to depart at 08:10am
  • FR2205 from Reus-Barcelona to Ireland West Airport Knock which was due to arrive at 08:30am
  • FR2206 from Ireland West Airport Knock to Reus-Barcelona which was due to depart at 08:55am
  • FR2451 from Faro to Ireland West Airport Knock which was due to arrive at 09:10am
